Your game page
Everything that makes up how your game appears on Poki: the game frame, the page around it, and the assets we use to promote it.
Fullscreen
Some games on Poki can go fullscreen, but not every game gets the option. It's decided case by case.
The main question is whether fullscreen would drastically improve the player experience, weighed together with the game's design quality and performance. Our approach keeps evolving as we watch player metrics, but the most common criteria right now:
- Online or local multiplayer modes
- An open world setting
- Find-the-difference and hidden object games
If a game doesn't fit these criteria and plays well in the default frame, fullscreen won't be enabled for it. No action needed on your side: the Poki team evaluates this during the release process.
Animated thumbnails
A short video preview that plays when players hover over your static thumbnail. It shows what your game feels like, and it can significantly boost engagement.
You add your animated thumbnail once your game enters the Soft Release phase, and every game needs one before global release.

Content guidelines
- Focus on gameplay: your core mechanics and most exciting moments.
- Minimal text: let the visuals do the talking.
- 2 to 3 scenes of about 1 to 2 seconds each: variety without overwhelming.
- Start from your static artwork and animate from there for a cohesive hover transition.
- Simplify: hide non-essential UI, and center your action since the square crop trims the edges.
- Remove the cursor. Double-check it's not visible; a tool like Cursorcerer hides it during recording.
