Final review
The last stage before release. The Poki team looks at your results and plays the game itself to make the call.
What we look at
Once your game has gone through the testing process, you can request for your game to be released on Poki. Once you have submitted your game, the Poki team will review your game’s results as well as the content of the game itself in order to determine:
- Whether the game and its content are in line with our quality guidelines, including originality and craft
- Whether the game is unique enough within the categories it falls into
How long it takes
1-2 weeks. It takes time to make an informed decision and ensure we maintain a high level of quality for our playground. Once the Final Review has concluded, you will be contacted by the Poki team to inform you about the decision of our team and the potential next steps.
If you pass
You're on track for release on Poki. The team will be in touch about the agreement and the release process: legal, QA, Soft Release, and Global Release, roughly 2 to 3 months in total.
If you don't
If your game did not pass the last review, that means our team does not see a fit for the game on Poki at this time. It is therefore not possible to publish your game on the Poki platform.
That said, we’d love to stay in touch! If you have other games in the works, feel free to submit them for testing. We’re always excited to see new ideas and explore potential opportunities to collaborate down the road. We know this may not be the response you were hoping for, but we hope to stay connected and see what new concepts you come up with in the future.
